About Reatshepa Properties

The Name: Reatshepa Properties was established in 1996. The name Reatshepa means “we trust” - it was founded by Mrs. M.M Mohanoe, and the name was influenced by experiences and stereotypes of how people (valued clients) see and describe estate agents as fraudsters. It is a name that defines all our values and visions as a company. It became a name that defines the values and the motives of the company. We work and operate under South African constitutional law and abide by the rules and regulations of the ESTATE AGENCY AFFAIRS BOARD OF SOUTH AFRICA (EAAB).


Our vision: To make a difference throughout the community by educating people on how to buy and sell properties.


Our Mission: To lawfully and truthfully provide an excellent service to our clients, both the sellers and purchasers.

Our goal is to help our clients with a hassle-free process of buying and selling houses. We offer our clients the best of services such as marketing their properties through our various marketing techniques, and we also help our purchasing clients with various government subsidies.


Ownership: The company is 100% black owned and operated by the registered and accredited principal, Mrs Mirriam Mohanoe. Mirriam has more than 20 years of experience in the estate agency business with a special focus on the perceived difficult markets of the townships. Despite all the perceived difficulties, Mirriam successfully set up a thriving business operating from a successful Thabong shopping mall, situated strategically within easy access to her clients.


Capacity to deliver: The company is currently staffed with 10 well-trained and highly motivated estate agents, who are fully knowledgeable and passionate about empowering our target market to make sound selling and purchasing decisions.


OUR SERVICES

We specialize in the buying and selling of properties, which include marketing of properties, advertising of properties, pre-qualifying of clients, applications of different government subsidies, cash purchasers, and bond applications for our clients.

Our value and pride is compliance, as Reatshepa Properties always looks to provide the best service for our clients - we believe more in interacting with our clients and having to communicate transparently with our clients for a more thorough understanding between the seller and the purchaser, we take initiative and full responsibility in communicating with both parties and making sure that the seller and the purchaser are both happy and satisfied with the service that we provide.

Stakeholder engagement: We possess the necessary skill, experience, and trust to engage with both formal township residents and informal settlement residents on issues relating to RDP housing, Affordable housing (FLISP), and rental options (Social housing).

Partnerships: We always take the initiative to help grow the youth of South Africa by teaming up with the SERVICE SECTOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING AUTHORITY (SSETA) and playing that most needed role of hosting, empowering, developing, and training the youth through a Learnership in Real Estate.

This is seen as a way of paving an educational opportunity for the community and also other agencies as this is helping us on our mission of eliminating all the illegal activities that all the unregistered agents and agencies are pursuing as we always choose to lead by example, we believe that this will ease and bring back the trust that the community(valued clients) has lost through the years.
